The 7 year old me sitting on my living room floor, crushing Apple Sauce while watching Harry Carey call Andre Dawson Homers could have never dreamed this one up.  But IT HAPPENED.  It REALLY did.

My Kid Won’t Give It 100% Effort. Welcome to the Club. As a father of two, I’ve learned I can capture the attention of 50 kids, meanwhile the one person interrupting a team meeting or “MAILING IT IN” is my daughter.

Why do some kids look at their parents after a swing and miss? Why do some kids start crying after they walk a batter? Why does that kid walk 4 more batters after they start crying? Because they are afraid to fail.

About 10 minutes into our scrimmage, this car pulls up.  It was ROD CAREW!  He actually showed up.  I told the kids to take a water break in the shade because I had a friend who wanted to talk to them.
